Struton is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to support the design and execution of industrial plants, material handling systems, and engineered equipment for silica, minerals, and heavy-duty processing industries. The role involves translating process requirements into reliable, fabrication-ready designs.
Role & Responsibilities
- Design mechanical systems, equipment layouts, and assemblies for industrial plants.
- Prepare 2D drawings and 3D models for fabrication and installation.
- Coordinate with fabrication, project, and site teams for design feasibility.
- Support equipment selection, material specifications, and BOM preparation.
- Review drawings for accuracy, safety, and operational efficiency.
- Assist during installation, commissioning, and technical troubleshooting.

- Strong fundamentals in mechanical engineering and industrial design.
- Hands-on experience with heavy fabrication and plant equipment.
- Practical understanding of site conditions and execution challenges.
- Ability to convert process concepts into workable mechanical designs.
